VRYST Privacy Policy

VRYST ("we") provides an AI-based trust and scam detection service via the VRYST app and the website vryst.app.

Data we collect

• Account data (only if you sign in): email and Firebase user ID.
• Content you submit for analysis: text, links, optional images. Processed by our AI backend; short-term caches purged within 30 days.
• Usage data: basic analytics (opens, crashes) via Firebase. No advertising identifiers.
• Payment data: handled exclusively by Google Play Billing. We never see card numbers.

How we use it

• To run the scan you requested and return a verdict.
• To maintain your personal history (visible only to you) if signed in.
• To improve detection models using anonymized aggregate signals only.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only with Google (Firebase, Play Billing) as processor, or with law enforcement when legally compelled.

Retention & deletion

You can delete your account and history anytime from the app. Backend backups are purged within 90 days.

Children

VRYST is not directed at children under 13.
